I told her you guys are going to get married, and I better be in the wedding.” Their close bond is a testament to the joy they brought to each other’s lives.

Mateo was a valued member of the school’s basketball team. The team posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, stating, “Rest in peace to our beloved player Mateo Davila. You and your family will always be in our hearts.” The post has garnered significant support from the community.
