Zara Larsson’s Midnight Sun Tour Gets a Major Upgrade!
Swedish pop sensation Zara Larsson is bringing the heat to Australasia with a significantly expanded 2026 Midnight Sun Tour. Following a complete sell-out of all initially announced Australian dates – including multiple additional shows – Live Nation has confirmed major venue upgrades and a brand new show in New Zealand.
The demand for Zara Larsson has been phenomenal. Her concerts in Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney will now be held in larger arenas, maintaining their original dates. This is a testament to her growing fanbase and the excitement surrounding her live performances.
Tour Date Updates
- Perth: October 20th – Moved from Perth HPC to RAC Arena
- Melbourne: October 22nd – Moved from Margaret Court Arena to Rod Laver Arena
- Sydney: October 23rd – Moved from Hordern Pavilion to Qudos Bank Arena
- Auckland: October 25th – New show added at Spark Arena! This marks Zara Larsson’s first-ever performance in New Zealand.
Existing ticket holders for the Australian shows will be contacted by Ticketek with details regarding the updated arena layouts and their tickets. Don’t worry, your tickets are still valid!
Initial Sell-Out Success
The venue upgrades follow the initial wave of sold-out shows across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. Dates at Brisbane Riverstage (October 13th & 14th), Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion (October 15th), Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena (October 17th), and Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre Arena (October 18th) all reached capacity almost instantly.
This tour marks Zara Larsson’s debut headline tour of the region at this scale, solidifying her position as a global pop force nearly a decade after the success of hits like “Lush Life” and “Never Forget You.” Previously performing at festivals and as a support act in Australia, this upgrade to arena venues signifies a significant leap in her market presence.
