Mega Millions Results: February 17th Draw – Jackpot Rolls Over!
The anticipation is over! The Mega Millions winning numbers are in for the Tuesday, February 17th drawing, with an estimated jackpot of a staggering $395 million (a $183.3 million cash option). Unfortunately, no one matched all six numbers, meaning the jackpot continues to grow!
Winning Numbers for February 17th:
- Main Numbers: 3, 37, 44, 52, 63
- Mega Ball: 14
The next opportunity to win big is Friday, February 20th. Drawings are held promptly at 11 p.m. Eastern Time. In Michigan, you can purchase tickets in-store and online until 10:45 p.m. on the night of the draw.
How to Play the Mega Millions Online Lottery
Participating in the Mega Millions online lottery is simple! Each ticket costs $5. Players select six numbers: five distinct numbers ranging from 1 to 70 (the white balls) and one number from 1 to 24 (the gold Mega Ball). Don’t want to choose your own? Opt for the Easy Pick/Quick Pick option for randomly generated numbers.
What’s New with the Multiplier?
Mega Millions has retired the Megaplier feature, but don’t worry – there’s still a chance to boost your winnings! A built-in multiplier is now automatically included with every play, randomly increasing non-jackpot prizes by 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or even 10x!
Your Odds of Winning
While the jackpot is tempting, it’s good to know the odds. The chances of matching all five white balls and the Mega Ball to win the Mega Millions jackpot are approximately 1 in 290,472,336. Still, someone has to win eventually!
Where to Find the Results
You can watch the Mega Millions drawing live on YouTube. Winning numbers are also promptly posted on the official Mega Millions website and the Michigan Lottery website.
Jackpot Options: Annuity vs. Cash
If you’re lucky enough to win the jackpot, you’ll have a choice: take the annuity or the cash option. The annuity is paid out in one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments, each 5% larger than the previous, designed to protect against inflation. The cash option provides a one-time, lump-sum payment equal to the available cash in the jackpot prize pool. If multiple winners share the jackpot, the prize money is divided equally.
Stay tuned for the next Mega Millions draw on Friday! Good luck!
