Earth Day Mass to be Held at Attucks Park in Carbondale

CARBONDALE, Ill. – A special Earth Day Mass is scheduled to take place at the scenic Attucks Park in Carbondale on Sunday, April 26th. This inspiring event offers a unique opportunity to reflect on our responsibility to care for the planet and celebrate the beauty of our shared environment.

Service Details

The Mass will begin at 3:00 PM and will be held at the Will-Thorton Pavilion within Attucks Park. Father Bill Spencer will preside over the service, welcoming all members of the community to attend.

Inspired by Laudato Si’

The Earth Day Mass is thoughtfully organized by the Care for Creation group at St. Francis Xavier Church in Carbondale.
