Arman Tsarukyan is proving he’s a force to be reckoned with, racking up wins both inside and outside the UFC octagon. The top lightweight contender decisively defeated Georgio Poullas on Saturday night at RAF 7, held at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, settling their highly anticipated wrestling rematch.

A Heated Rivalry Renewed

Tsarukyan, 29, and Poullas, 27, first went viral in February after their RAF 6 clash descended into chaos following illegal punches from Tsarukyan after the bell, sparking a team-wide brawl. Tsarukyan won the initial match 5-3, but he surpassed that performance on Saturday, securing a commanding 9-3 victory over three intense periods.

Match Breakdown: Tsarukyan’s Strategic Dominance

Tsarukyan established an early lead, earning a point in each of the first two periods as Poullas struggled to score during shot-clock sequences. The final period exploded with action, as Poullas briefly gained momentum with a takedown. However, Tsarukyan responded with a spectacular four-point throw in the closing seconds, sealing his triumph.

This marks Tsarukyan’s fourth non-UFC competition in 2026. He previously defeated Lance Palmer under the Real American Freestyle banner in January and grappled his way to victory against former UFC flyweight Muhammad Mokaev earlier this month in Brazil.

“It was so important [to win this match],” a jubilant Tsarukyan stated after RAF 7. “I’ll be RAF champion, UFC champion, and I’ll collect all the belts in the world.”

Covington Shines in Co-Main Event

In the co-main event, Colby Covington delivered a dominant performance, defeating Bellator veteran and Misfits MMA champion Dillon Danis via technical fall with a score of 14-4. Despite a surprising 4-4 tie in the first period, Covington unleashed a relentless 10-0 run in the second, securing his second RAF victory.
