Pamela Genini: Ex-Boyfriend Claims Criminal Plot Behind Tomb Desecration
The case of Pamela Genini, the 29-year-old woman tragically killed by Gianluca Soncin in October 2025, has taken a disturbing turn. Francesco Dolci, Genini’s ex-boyfriend, alleges a deliberate “criminal plot” is behind the recent desecration of her tomb. Dolci claims he is being targeted to silence him, as he possesses crucial information related to the case.
Appearing on the Rai2 program “Ore 14,” Dolci stated, “They want to silence me because I know too much. I’ve already told investigators a lot, but I still have more to say to achieve justice for Pamela.” He believes multiple individuals – “at least 3 or 4” – were involved in the gruesome act of desecration.
Threats and Intimidation
Dolci asserts he has been subjected to months of threats, intimidation, and various forms of aggression from different individuals attempting to prevent him from speaking out. He links these threats directly to the tomb’s desecration, stating, “There’s a criminal design behind all of this.” He emphasizes the physical impossibility of one person defiling the grave, citing the weight of the coffin as evidence of multiple perpetrators.
“A single person couldn’t have done it, even just considering the weight of the coffin. There had to be 3 or 4 people, for sure,” Dolci added. He claims others who possess knowledge of the case have also been silenced.
Investigation and Family Response
The Bergamo prosecutor’s office has launched an investigation into the tomb desecration, focusing on charges of corpse desecration and the theft of the head. The discovery was made during the transfer of Genini’s remains from a temporary burial site to the family tomb on March 23rd. An employee noticed anomalies with the coffin, and upon opening it in the presence of authorities, it was revealed that Genini’s head was missing.
The remains were transported to the Papa Giovanni Hospital in Bergamo for an autopsy. Dolci further detailed a pattern of harassment, including forced entry into his home, mailbox tampering, and ongoing threats. He has been forced to change his residence due to the constant danger.
While Dolci believes the motive is not financial, but rather an attempt to silence him, the Genini family has publicly refuted claims of threats and extortion. They described the desecration as a “disuman scempio” (inhumane outrage). ANSA provides ongoing coverage of the case.
Gianluca Soncin, the perpetrator of Pamela Genini’s murder, has already been brought to justice. The investigation continues to unravel the circumstances surrounding the tomb desecration and the alleged attempts to silence those with knowledge of the case.
