The Drag Race universe is expanding north of the border! Canada’s Drag Race: All Stars is set to premiere later this year on the WOW Presents Plus streaming platform, and it’s bringing a historic twist. For the first time in her-story, the judging panel will be entirely comprised of drag queens!
A Judging Panel Like No Other
Brooke Lynn Hytes will return as the host and resident judge, and she’ll be joined by two fierce competitors turned judges: Priyanka, the winner of Canada’s Drag Race Season 1, and Jimbo, a fan-favourite who conquered RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars Season 8. This dynamic trio promises a season filled with insightful critiques, hilarious banter, and unparalleled glamour.
What to Expect from All Stars
This season of Canada’s Drag Race: All Stars will consist of six one-hour episodes, welcoming back queens with unfinished business. They’ll be battling it out for the coveted title of Canada’s Ultimate All-Star and a grand prize of $100,000 CAD. Expect fierce competition, stunning runways, and challenges that will push these queens to their absolute limits.
A Collaboration Between Powerhouses
Canada’s Drag Race: All Stars marks the fourth collaboration between World of Wonder, Blue Ant Studios, and Crave. The partnership has already brought us hit series like Canada’s Drag Race, Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. The World, and Slaycation. This continued collaboration demonstrates the growing popularity and impact of the Drag Race franchise in Canada.
As reported on Deadline, the production team includes Matthew Hornburg, Mark Bishop, Donna Luke, and Laura Michalchyshyn (Blue Ant Studios) alongside Trevor Boris (Executive Producer/Showrunner) and Shivani Srivastava (Supervising Producer). World of Wonder’s Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell, and RuPaul Charles also serve as Executive Producers.
