Battlefield 6 & Redsec Season 2: A New Era of Conflict Begins
Get ready, soldiers! Season 2 of Battlefield 6 and Redsec is set to launch on February 17th at 4:00 AM PT (12:00 PM UTC). Prepare to engage in a grueling assault against Pax Armata as the conflict escalates to the mountainous terrain of Germany, all in a desperate attempt to reclaim a vital NATO airbase. This season promises a thrilling experience with a phased rollout of content designed to push your skills and strategy to the limit.
Season 2: A Three-Phase Assault
Season 2 will unfold in three distinct phases: Extreme Measures, Nightfall, and Hunter/Prey. Each phase introduces a unique set of challenges, maps, and weaponry, ensuring a constantly evolving and engaging gameplay experience. Expect high-intensity maps, critical gadgets, iconic new hardware, and vehicles – everything you need for all-out war.
Phase 1: Extreme Measures – Distort Reality
The first wave, Extreme Measures, takes the intensity to a whole new level. Introducing the VL-7 psychoactive smoke, this non-lethal hallucinogen will distort the battlefield, creating a disorienting and unpredictable environment. Alongside this, players will explore the expansive new map, Contaminated, available in Battlefield 6. Prepare for the arrival of 3 new weapons, 2 new gadgets, and the highly anticipated return of the legendary AH-6 Little Bird in both Battlefield 6 and Redsec.
The free-to-play Redsec experience will also feature limited-time modes designed to test your squad’s limits in intense, mind-bending combat scenarios. This is where teamwork and adaptability will truly be put to the test.
Phase 2: Nightfall – Embrace the Darkness
As Season 2 progresses, Nightfall descends, shrouding both Battlefield 6 and Redsec in darkness. This phase introduces the new Hagental Base map and a brand-new Point of Interest (POI), adding a layer of tactical complexity to your engagements. Mastering the shadows will be key to survival.
Phase 3: Hunter/Prey – The Ultimate Test
The final phase, Hunter/Prey, culminates in the limited-time Operation Augur in Battlefield 6. Prepare for a new vehicle, a devastating melee weapon, and a host of other surprises that will challenge even the most seasoned veterans.
