The colossal aircraft, measuring 250 feet in length and 65 feet in height, hangs approximately 14 feet above the central galleria at 1200 Stewart Street. The journey to get it there was a logistical feat, requiring a convoy of 39 semi-trucks to transport the pieces from the aircraft boneyard in Victorville, California.

Originally a part of the United Airlines fleet, this Boeing 747 has been given a new lease on life. There isn’t one.” While the project has shifted hands to a new developer due to financial considerations, the core vision remains intact.
