The Assessor & ARC Operations
A massive, stationary Probe – dubbed the Assessor by Celeste – has arrived, accompanied by unprecedented ARC patrols. While seemingly passive, the Assessor holds something Raiders desperately want. This marks the arrival of ARC Operations, a new type of major map condition. Expect less readily available loot, but the potential rewards within the Assessor are immense. Bring your best gear and prepare for a fight!
New Threats: The Vaporizer
Whatever the Assessor is doing, it’s attracting attention. A new flying ARC type, quickly earning the nickname “Vaporizer” among Raiders, has been spotted. Beware its devastating laser attacks and unpredictable attack patterns. This ARC is a serious threat to even the most seasoned Raiders.
Tian Wen’s Blueprints: New Weaponry
Tian Wen has been working tirelessly, forging new weaponry to combat the escalating ARC threat. It’s time to find her Blueprints and craft powerful new tools:
- The Canto: A medium-ammo submachine gun perfect for close-quarters combat against ARCs and rival Raiders.
- The Dolabra: An energy shotgun with a variable focus, allowing for wide bursts or focused electrical funnels to punch through ARC armor. Find its Blueprint during the Close Scrutiny ARC Operation.
- The Surge Coil: A deployable device that periodically electrifies its surroundings, providing a defensive perimeter against sneaking enemies.
Mysteries in the Sky & Scrappy’s Appetite
Celeste and Shani are investigating strange shapes in the sky, reported during recent hurricanes. They need your help gathering resources to build a High Gain Antenna and uncover the truth. Your efforts will be rewarded, but the threat they’re tracking could impact everyone.
Your bond with Scrappy has deepened! Now you can influence the types of loot he collects by feeding him specific items. In return, Scrappy will reward you with more valuable drops.
Stella Montis Breach & Crafting Improvements
The Stella Montis doors have been left open! Be vigilant on Blue Gate, Buried City, Spaceport, and Dam Battlegrounds – the floating menace has been spotted across the Rust Belt.
Crafting has been streamlined! You can now fulfill missing materials directly, reducing time spent navigating menus. A list of available sources (recycling, refining, purchasing) will be presented when materials are lacking.
Cosmetic Bundles: New Looks for the Season
The Wasp Hunter cosmetic bundle is now available, featuring a mechanistic outfit and exclusive items. Throughout April, look out for:
- The Brigade Set: Roman centurion-inspired style.
- The Vanguard Set: Riot gear for any situation.
- The Nascosto Set: Ghillie-style camouflage for stealthy Raiders.
