Matchmaking Adjustments: A Focus on Custom Loadouts
Embark Studios is also implementing significant changes to the matchmaking system. In a move to better understand the impact of free loadouts on gameplay, the system will now prioritize matching players utilizing custom loadouts to fresh servers. This isn’t a guaranteed outcome – map selection, time of day, and regional player availability will still play a role – but it’s a step towards a more balanced and engaging experience.
It’s important to note that these adjustments may slightly increase matchmaking times. Embark Studios will be closely monitoring these times to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all Raiders. Free loadouts remain a vital safety net, allowing players to rebuild their economies and progress even after setbacks.
