The excitement for the 2026/27 football season is building up, but if you are heading to the legendary San Siro, there are some important changes you need to be aware of. Due to the construction of the new stadium, the access routes and traffic patterns around the current venue have been modified to ensure fan safety and efficiency.

These changes will be fully operational starting from the first matchday, Inter vs. Monza, scheduled for Saturday, August 22, at 18:30. To make your matchday experience seamless, we have compiled this essential guide.

Getting to San Siro: Transport Recommendations

With construction underway, parking spaces for cars have been significantly reduced and will continue to decrease throughout the season. We strongly recommend using public transportation to avoid traffic jams and parking stress.

Depending on your seating sector, here are the best ways to reach the stadium:

• Orange, Green, and Red Sectors: The best option is the M1 Metro (Red Line), exiting at the Lotto stop.
• Orange, Blue, and Red Sectors: You can use the M5 Metro (Lilac Line), exiting at the San Siro Stadio terminus, or take Tram 16 and get off at the Stadio Meazza stop.

Important Notice: Please be aware that via dei Piccolomini is currently closed to pedestrian traffic. Plan your walking route accordingly.

New Entrance and Access Logistics

The layout of the stadium gates has changed. To avoid confusion, please note that entrances 7 through 10 are no longer available. Additionally, the west side of the fence (near the red sectors) is now reserved exclusively for emergency exits and post-match dispersal.
