AFTON, MO – Authorities in St. Louis County are urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating 5-year-old Alesia Dawson, who was abducted Monday morning in Afton, Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued an AMBER Alert just after 9:15 a.m. following the child’s disappearance.
Details of the Abduction
According to police reports, Alesia was taken at approximately 8:00 a.m. from the 8900 block of New Hampshire Avenue in Afton. She was reportedly taken in a stolen vehicle. While the vehicle has since been recovered, Alesia Dawson remains missing, prompting a widespread search effort.
Alesia Dawson: Description
Alesia is described as a Black female with her hair styled in four ponytails. When last seen, she was wearing a pink T-shirt with a “Flower Power” design and blue shorts. Her safety is the top priority, and authorities are working tirelessly to bring her home.
