TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – A somber update from South Carolina: a motorcyclist tragically lost his life in a crash Thursday night. The incident occurred on Tubbs Mountain Road near Upcountry Lane around 9:50 p.m., according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Preliminary reports indicate the motorcyclist veered off the right side of the road and collided with a tree. Emergency responders arrived on the scene, but unfortunately, the rider succumbed to his injuries.
