Lieutenant Shane Manwaring of the Unified Police Department reported that the pedestrian was struck by a Ford F-150 driven by an individual who remained at the scene and provided assistance until emergency crews arrived. The driver fully cooperated with authorities.
The injured man was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he is receiving treatment for his injuries. His condition is currently listed as critical.
