According to Mayor Brandon Scott, the shooting took place “during a barricade situation at a residence.” Witnesses reported seeing officers rushing to a home on Park Heights Avenue and hearing a single gunshot. The injured officer was immediately transported to Shock Trauma, a leading trauma center in Baltimore.
