Lando Norris to Start Chinese Grand Prix from Pit Lane
The McLaren driver, Lando Norris, will unfortunately start the Chinese Grand Prix from the pit lane following a frustrating issue discovered on his McLaren F1 car just before the race. The problem prevented him from exiting the pit lane before the designated closing time for the dummy grid run.
Electrical Issue Plagues McLaren
McLaren initially reported an electrical fault, prompting a thorough inspection of the car, including the removal of the floor and several key components. While the team believed they had rectified the problem, Norris was unable to leave the garage for the final preparations. This setback significantly impacts his chances in the race.
If Norris is able to start the race, he will do so from the pit lane, putting him at a considerable disadvantage. This means he’ll be starting behind all other competitors and will need to navigate through traffic to gain positions.
