Golden State Warriors Face Another Injury Blow: Quinten Post Exits Game Against Nuggets

The Golden State Warriors encountered a setback on Sunday night during their game against the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena in Colorado. Backup center Quinten Post left the game with an apparent right foot injury, adding to the team’s growing injury concerns.

During his limited playing time of five minutes, Post managed two rebounds and one block, shooting 0/1 from the field before being forced to leave the contest. ESPN’s Anthony Slater reported, “Another injury for the Warriors. Backup center Quinten Post limping to the locker room after going down with a lower right leg issue. He’s had ankle and foot trouble recently.”

Social media quickly lit up with reactions to Post’s injury:

  • Dalton Johnson: “Oh no, Quinten Post can barely walk”
  • Kenzo Fukuda: “Not good for Quinten Post. Might have rolled his ankle. Been dealing with a sprained left ankle. Warriors dealt another injury.”
  • @NateOnDubs: “Quinten Post gingerly walks back to the bench after suffering an apparent foot injury. Really struggles to walk. He just came back after missing three straight game due to an injury on that same foot.”
  • @Sheridanblog: “Damn it, Quinten Post hurt his ankle again right after playing great defense on Jokic. Really wish he didn’t try to force the action in transition, but he was too fired up about the blocked shot he had. Smh, looks like he’ll probably miss at least a week after that re-tweak.”
