New York City is proving to be the perfect getaway for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift! The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, recently shared a glimpse into their activities during the latest episode of his “New Heights” podcast, revealing they were captivated by the USA men’s hockey team’s thrilling gold medal win at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

“Me and Tay watched the entire game,” Kelce told listeners on Wednesday. “It was so epic. From the first drop of the puck, that game was nonstop action and had me at the edge of my seat at 8:05 in the morning.” He continued, expressing his genuine enjoyment: “Man, I loved every minute of it.”

A Birthday Call and a Blizzard

The excitement didn’t stop at the game. Kelce revealed they took the opportunity to call his father, Ed Kelce, mid-game to wish him a happy birthday. “We gave him a shout and talked to him a little,” the three-time Super Bowl champion recalled fondly.

Adding to the New York experience, Kelce described the impressive snowfall. “They weren’t lying [about this blizzard]. I’m on the East Coast right now, and it is coming down and I love it, man. When you haven’t seen snowfall in awhile and it turns the entire place white and bright, it is just so magical.” He did acknowledge the challenges, noting it’s “hard to get around if the city isn’t taking care of it.”

Keeping a Low Profile

While Kelce shared these details, the couple has largely remained out of the public eye since January, when they were spotted enjoying a date night in Los Angeles. Their relationship, which began in the summer of 2023, took a significant step forward when Kelce proposed in August 2025. They are currently planning their wedding, set to take place in Rhode Island this June.

Kelce’s brother and podcast co-host, Jason Kelce, chimed in with his own winter woes, describing the snowfall in Pennsylvania as a “pain in the ass.”
