Strawberry Festival 2026: Weather Forecast & Daylight Saving Time Reminder

Strawberry Festival 2026: Sunshine & Warm Weather Ahead!

As excitement builds for the Strawberry Festival 2026, South Florida is gearing up for a beautiful, albeit warm, weekend. The NEXT Weather Team is closely monitoring conditions, and the forecast is looking exceptionally favorable for festival-goers.

A Warm & Dry Weekend Forecast

Prepare for above-normal temperatures and dry conditions across South Florida this weekend. Fort Lauderdale already broke a record for the highest minimum temperature on Friday, and the warmth will continue. Expect daytime highs in the low 80s – significantly warmer than usual for this time of year.

While a few isolated, pop-up showers are possible across Broward and Miami-Dade counties, the chance of rain is very low. This means plenty of sunshine to enjoy the Strawberry Festival 2026 and all its delicious offerings!

Rain Returns Next Week

If you’re hoping for a bit of a cool-down, the best chance for rain returns towards the end of next week. Until then, soak up the sunshine!

Don’t Forget to Spring Forward!

And a friendly reminder: Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday! At 2 a.m. on Sunday, remember to set your clocks ahead one hour. You’ll lose an hour of sleep, but gain more daylight to enjoy the Strawberry Festival 2026 and the warmer weather. It’s a small price to pay for longer, sunnier days.

Make the most of the full 24 hours on Saturday, because Sunday will only offer 23! Enjoy the festival and remember to stay hydrated in the warm weather.
