- May 2: Olivia Rodrigo will make her hosting debut and pull double duty as the Musical Guest, following in the footsteps of Harry Styles. Rodrigo, already a two-time Musical Guest (Seasons 46 and 49), will be promoting her upcoming album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, set to release on June 12.
- May 9: Matt Damon will return for his third stint as host! Joining him will be singer-songwriter Noah Kahan as the Musical Guest. Damon’s new film, The Odyssey, hits theaters on July 17.
- May 16: A truly legendary duo will wrap up Season 51: Will Ferrell and Paul McCartney. Ferrell, a beloved SNL alum (Seasons 21-27) and member of the prestigious Five-Timers Club, will share the stage with McCartney, who is making his fifth appearance as a solo Musical Guest, having first graced the show in Season 5.
