Kylie Jenner Under Fire: Former Employee Files Lawsuit Alleging Toxicity and Harassment
The glitz and glamour of the Kardashian-Jenner empire are once again facing a legal storm. Kylie Jenner, the world-renowned beauty mogul and reality star, is currently being sued by a former housekeeper who describes a workplace defined by hostility and discrimination.
The lawsuit, filed by Angelica Hernandez Vasquez, targets not only Kylie Jenner Inc. but also Tri Star Services and La Maison Family Services. According to court documents obtained by The Los Angeles Times and other major outlets, the allegations paint a grim picture of life behind the scenes at Jenner’s Hidden Hills residence.
Severe Harassment and Discrimination Claims
Angelica Hernandez Vasquez, a Salvadoran woman and practicing Catholic, alleges that her employment from September 2024 to August 2025 was marred by “severe and pervasive harassment.” The plaintiff claims that from her very first day, she was met with hostility and exclusion by her supervisors.
The legal filing outlines several distressing experiences, including:
- n
- Targeted Tasks: Being routinely assigned the most difficult and undesirable chores.
- Public Humiliation: Being belittled in front of colleagues based on her race, national origin, and religion.
- Intimidation: Constant exposure to demeaning treatment and a toxic atmosphere.
According to the documents, Vasquez attempted to voice her concerns, but rather than finding a resolution, she experienced an increased workload, reduced hours, and false disciplinary warnings.
Health Impacts and Financial Disputes
The emotional toll of the environment was significant. Vasquez claims she developed severe stress, anxiety, and symptoms consistent with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), which eventually forced her to take medical leave in July 2025. Upon her return, she alleges that the conditions remained intolerable, leaving her with no choice but to resign in August 2025.
Beyond the emotional distress, the lawsuit also touches on financial negligence. Vasquez alleges that the defendants:
- n
- Failed to pay her full wages on time.
- Neglected to pay overtime wages.
- Failed to reimburse necessary business expenses.
The plaintiff is now seeking a jury trial to recover unpaid wages, sick leave, and other lawfully withheld compensation.
A Recurring Pattern for the Kardashian-Jenner Family?
This isn’t the first time a member of this high-profile family has found themselves in legal trouble regarding domestic staff. In 2021, Kim Kardashian was sued by seven former employees who claimed they were denied proper breaks and were not paid correctly. While Kim’s team argued that the workers were hired via a third-party vendor, the matter eventually reached a private legal settlement in late 2023.
As of now, Kylie Jenner has not publicly commented on the allegations, and her representatives have yet to provide an official statement regarding the lawsuit.
