Kesha to Bring Dance-Pop Energy to the Québec City Summer Festival 2026
The Festival d’été de Québec (FEQ) has announced a stellar lineup for its 58th edition, running from July 9th to 19th across Old Québec. With over 175 performances planned across eleven days, the festival promises a diverse musical experience, blending international superstars with the best of Canadian and Québec talent. And this year, pop sensation Kesha is set to electrify the stage!
A Lineup Packed with Icons
Headlining alongside Kesha are some of music’s biggest names. Gwen Stefani, a three-decade icon from No Doubt to her successful solo career, will grace the festival grounds. British rock giants Muse will also return, nearly a decade after their unforgettable 2017 performance. Electronic music fans will be thrilled by the inclusion of Dutch DJ Martin Garrix, a mainstay on the global festival circuit.
Nostalgia and New Sounds
The FEQ 2026 lineup isn’t just about current chart-toppers. It also takes a trip down memory lane with acts from the late ’90s and early 2000s. Limp Bizkit, pioneers of the rap-metal fusion, and hip-hop legends Cypress Hill will bring their signature sounds to Québec City. Kesha, known for her infectious dance-pop anthems that dominated the early 2010s, adds another layer of nostalgia to the mix.
Beyond the Headliners: A Diverse Musical Landscape
The festival’s commitment to diversity extends beyond the headliners. Folk-rock group The Lumineers, known for their sing-along anthems, and Canadian crooner Michael Bublé will offer contrasting yet equally captivating performances. American artist Jelly Roll, blending country, rock, and hip-hop, will close out the shows on the Plains of Abraham.
Québec Artists Take Centre Stage
The FEQ remains dedicated to showcasing Québec’s vibrant music scene. Local rap artists Souldia, Koriass, and FouKi will lead the charge, while prominent songwriters and indie artists like Patrick Watson, Klô Pelgag, Lou-Adriane Cassidy, Les Louanges, and Ariane Roy will also take the stage.
Global Beats and Electronic Vibes
The festival’s international flavour is further enhanced by artists from various musical backgrounds. Brazilian producer ALOK will deliver a large-scale electronic performance, joined by Canadian DJ WHIPPED CREAM and British producer D.O.D. Reggae and Afro-Caribbean sounds will be represented by Sean Paul, Danakil, and Tiken Jah Fakoly, alongside cumbia, afrobeat, and global pop artists.
