Kendra Wilkinson Embarks on a New Wellness Journey

Kendra Wilkinson is prioritizing her well-being and embracing a new chapter focused on health and fitness. The former reality star, now 40, is taking a proactive approach to feeling her best, admitting she’s ready to get back into her favorite jeans.

Facing the ’40s & Finding Balance

“There’s nothing worse than being in a gym every single day, working out and not seeing any progress,” Wilkinson shared with Us Weekly while participating in Aaron Rodgers and RX3 Growth Partners’ charity flag football event on Saturday, March 21st. “I hit 40. I’m happy. I’m at peace, but I noticed that my jeans are a little tighter lately, so I don’t want to go out and shop anymore. Mama is on a budget, so I have to fit back in my jeans.”

To help achieve her goals, Wilkinson has opted to try weight loss shots. “So I actually signed up for a shot company that will be delivering my shot next week. So I’ll start my journey next week,” she revealed. However, she emphasized that this isn’t about drastic transformation.

A Realistic Approach to Wellness

Having transitioned from the spotlight of reality television to a career in real estate, Wilkinson is focused on a sustainable lifestyle. “I just want to slightly, like, ease my way into it,” she explained. “I just want to be balanced out. I don’t really want to be skinny, but I just want to be balanced and fit in my jeans again.”

Flag Football & the Importance of Play

The weekend event provided a fun and active outlet for Wilkinson, who joined Aaron Rodgers, Bryce Young, Jarrett Stidham, Will Howard, and Matt Leinart in a flag football tournament. The event impressively raised a record-breaking $4.2 million for over 30 charitable organizations.

Despite not considering herself a seasoned athlete, Wilkinson enthusiastically participated, donning her BYLT jersey and contributing to a worthy cause. “What we’re doing here is all about staying youthful, and longevity is the biggest word I’ve been hearing a lot lately,” she noted. “I think a big part of longevity is to get out and play, have fun. Smile, be in the sun.”

She added with a laugh, “Look, I’m a little bit overweight at the moment, so I’m gonna start taking my weight loss shots… But other than that, just get out and play. You know, it’s beautiful out in life.”

Single Life & a Hint of Romance?

Being surrounded by a field full of football players also sparked a playful moment. As a single mother, Wilkinson jokingly inquired about Aaron Rodgers’ relationship status. “Look, I’m a single mama,” she quipped. “I’m not saying I’m out looking for love, but mama’s got to get her groove back at some point.” (Rodgers is currently married to Brittani.)

Wilkinson’s journey is a relatable reminder that prioritizing wellness is a continuous process, and finding balance is key to a happy and healthy life.
