Elijah Blue Allman Arrests: Latest Updates on Cher’s Son’s Legal Troubles

Elijah Blue Allman Arrested Again: A Deep Dive into Cher’s Son’s Legal Battles

Elijah Blue Allman, son of music icon Cher, was arrested for a second time in three days on Sunday, following a reported break-in at a New Hampshire home. This latest incident adds another layer to a complex situation involving ongoing legal issues and concerns surrounding Allman’s well-being.

Details of the Recent Arrest

According to reports from CBS News, police responded to a 911 call from a woman in Windham, New Hampshire, who stated someone had broken into her home and she was hiding in a closet. Officers discovered shattered glass and footprints in the snow leading to the back door. Upon entering, they found Allman, 49, “seated on the living room couch smoking a cigarette.”

Allman allegedly claimed he had permission from the homeowner to enter, a claim vehemently denied by both the woman and her husband. A pack of cigarettes and a lighter found on the table were also identified as not belonging to the homeowners, and a fresh cigarette burn was noted on a rug.

Charges and Previous Arrest

Allman is now facing charges of burglary, two counts of criminal mischief, and breach of bail stemming from a previous arrest on Friday. He is currently being held on preventative detention. The Friday arrest involved allegations of “acting belligerently” at a New Hampshire private high school, St. Paul’s School. He was charged with four misdemeanours – two counts of simple assault, one count of criminal trespass, and one count of criminal threatening – as well as a violation of disorderly conduct.

Police responded to reports of Allman disturbing people in the school’s dining hall. He is scheduled to be arraigned on April 20 at Concord District Court, as reported by WMUR.

The Conservatorship Battle

These arrests come after a highly publicized legal battle where Cher sought a conservatorship over her son in December 2023. Court documents revealed concerns that Allman’s life was “at risk” due to “severe mental health and substance abuse issues.” Cher argued that he was unable to manage his financial resources and protect his property, fearing he would spend his inheritance from his late father, musician Gregg Allman, on drugs.

However, in September 2024, Cher withdrew her bid for conservatorship after reaching a “private agreement” with her son. A statement from Allman’s lawyers, Avi Levy and Steven Brumer of Cage and Miles, LLP, shared with People, indicated the outcome would allow the parties to focus on “healing and rebuilding their family bond.”

No Statement from Cher or Allman

As of now, neither Cher nor Elijah Blue Allman have released a public statement regarding the ongoing investigation or the recent arrests. The situation remains fluid, and further updates will be provided as they become available.
