Disney and Formula 1®: A High-Speed Collaboration

Disney and Formula 1® are accelerating their partnership with the continuation of the multi-year “Fuel the Magic” collaboration, blending the magic of Disney storytelling with the high-octane world of racing. This exciting venture promises immersive fan experiences at Grand Prix weekends worldwide, building on the success of the Las Vegas Grand Prix in November 2025.

A Season-Long Story Unfolds

The 2026 race season will kick off with a racing-inspired content series at the Australian Grand Prix, followed by high-gear action at the Chinese Grand Prix, with more races planned throughout the year. The campaign aims to deliver original content, branded products, and entertainment that captures the energy of each host city and the beloved personalities of Disney’s Mickey & Friends.

“Formula 1 and Disney sparked a cultural moment felt worldwide—and it was only the beginning. This year is about turning that moment into a season-long story,” says Tasia Filippatos, President of Disney Consumer Products. “A new digital chapter with WEBTOON gives fans a reason to stay connected between race weekends, brought to life through product and standout moments that feel authentic to each stop on the calendar.”

Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Formula 1, adds, “The continuation of our ‘Fuel the Magic’ campaign with Disney is far greater than just a sports partnership, but one that leverages both Formula 1 and Disney’s power of immersive cultural storytelling and engaging entertainment. From unique product launches to fan experiences, digital content and WEBTOON integration, we’re offering even more unique ways that new and existing audiences can engage with our sport and experience race events like no other.”

WEBTOON Races into the Action

Disney and WEBTOON have teamed up to create ‘Mickey X Formula 1® Racing to the Top!’, an original vertical comics series launching on March 6th during the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix. New episodes will drop alongside each race weekend throughout the season. This series, designed for a new generation of fans, introduces fresh characters and scenarios, blending the creativity of Mickey & Friends with the excitement of Formula 1.

The story follows Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy as they support a racing team facing challenges, showcasing the power of friendship and teamwork.

Fueling the Magic at the Track and Beyond

Select Formula 1® races will feature “Fuel the Magic” fanzone retail pop-ups with race-specific and core branded merchandise, available at the F1® Hub, Grand Prix Plaza, and online at F1.com and the Amazon F1 store (U.S. only). Special Disney entertainment will also enhance the race weekend experience, with Mickey & Friends sporting stylish Formula 1® gear.

Stylish Collaborations

  • Gentle Monster: The 2026 Circuit Collection, a global eyewear collaboration, reimagines Formula 1 car design with a fashion-forward lens. The collection features eight styles, including three exclusive designs inspired by Mickey & Friends. Pop-up experiences will launch in Seoul and Shanghai.
  • Disney Store: New releases will include a Mickey Mouse plush in a Formula 1 uniform, initially available in Australia before a global rollout.
  • Uniqlo: New collaborations are also planned with Uniqlo.
