Crispin Glover Lawsuit: Model Accuses ‘Back to the Future’ Star of Abuse

Crispin Glover Faces Abuse Allegations in New Lawsuit

“Back to the Future” star Crispin Glover is embroiled in a legal battle after a model from the United Kingdom filed a lawsuit alleging manipulation, abuse, and ultimately, homelessness. The Jane Doe plaintiff claims Glover lured her to Los Angeles under false pretenses, promising a new life and career in Hollywood, only to subject her to a controlling and violent relationship.

The Allegations: A Descent into Control and Abuse

According to the lawsuit, the woman first connected with Glover on social media in 2015, receiving persistent messages encouraging her to move to Los Angeles. During a meeting in Dresden, Germany in 2023, she alleges Glover displayed a collection of Nazi memorabilia, a detail adding to the unsettling nature of the claims. Despite this, she remained in contact, enticed by promises of work opportunities.

In early 2024, Glover reportedly invited her to live in his Silver Lake home and work as his assistant. The woman claims she was manipulated into selling her belongings and terminating her European lease, believing she was embarking on a legitimate career path. Upon arrival in Los Angeles, she alleges the reality was far different – Glover expected her to be a live-in girlfriend and work without compensation.

Isolated and reliant on Glover, with no family, friends, or contacts in Los Angeles, the woman claims he exerted control over her movements and interactions. The lawsuit details a disturbing incident on March 2, 2024, when she informed Glover of her intention to visit a mosque. She alleges he threatened to lock her out of the house if she left, a threat she initially dismissed.

The Alleged Assault and Aftermath

Upon returning to the residence, the woman claims she found herself locked out, with Glover demanding she find alternative accommodation. Her belongings, including her cats, remained inside. When she attempted to retrieve her pets, she alleges Glover physically attacked her, grabbing her neck and choking her, leaving a visible wound and scar.

The woman further claims Glover subsequently contacted the police, filing a false report alleging she was an unlawful intruder. Law enforcement sources confirmed to TMZ that police responded to an assault report at Glover’s home on March 2, 2024, but no arrests were made at the time. Glover reportedly claimed he was assaulted by a man and a woman.

Glover’s Response and Legal Battle

A representative for Crispin Glover vehemently denies the allegations, calling them “baseless.” The representative stated that Glover was, in fact, the victim of an unprovoked felony assault by the Jane Doe on March 2, 2024, and that she was arrested by the LAPD. They cite law enforcement records and a restraining order filed by Glover against the woman as evidence supporting their claim. Glover intends to “vigorously defend himself and pursue all available relief,” confident that the judicial process will expose the lawsuit as a fabrication.

The woman is seeking damages and is represented by attorney Dev Das of the Geragos & Geragos law firm. The case is ongoing, and further developments are expected.
