Swift Current: A Day of Community and Culture

In Swift Current, the celebrations are centered around Tourism Swift Current‘s efforts to bring the community together. The main event will take place at Memorial Park starting at noon on Wednesday.

Shaunavon

Kick off your day in Shaunavon with a hearty pancake and sausage brunch fundraiser at the Grand Coteau Heritage & Cultural Centre (11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Afterwards, cool off with free public swimming available until 8 p.m., with special Canada Day cupcakes served at the pool around 2:30 p.m.

Eastend

For those visiting Eastend, the T. Rex Discovery Centre is the place to be at 11:30 a.m. for free hot dogs and pop, followed by an exciting Canada Day scavenger hunt. Later, at 1 p.m., the Eastend Historical Museum will host face painting and a challenging Canada Day trivia contest at 2 p.m.

Leader

The Town of Leader offers a classic small-town celebration. Don’t miss the bike parade at 12:30 p.m., moving from the Community Hall to the Millennium Gardens. The afternoon continues with a flag-raising ceremony at 1 p.m. and a captivating magic show at 2 p.m. To top it all off, the town will host a stunning fireworks display at the ball diamonds at dusk, rivaling the excitement of the famous fireworks in Saskatoon.
