Kerry Washington to Headline Psychological Thriller ‘An Innocent Girl’ on Netflix
Kerry Washington is expanding her already impressive Netflix portfolio with a new project: a psychological thriller titled ‘An Innocent Girl.’ The Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actress will not only star in the film but also serve as an executive producer, solidifying her influence both on and off-screen.
The film, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (known for ‘Carry On’ and ‘Cliffhanger’), promises a gripping narrative centered around a young, ambitious woman who finds herself entangled in a dangerous web of sex, power, and murder after being seduced by a prominent D.C. couple. James Marsden and Chloe East will co-star in this thrilling new venture.

He’s also slated to appear in the second season of Hulu’s ‘Paradise’ and ‘Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice,’ as well as Apple TV+’s ‘Your Friends & Neighbors.’ Notably, Marsden will be making his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Cyclops in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’.
Chloe East, known for her breakout roles in Steven Spielberg’s ‘The Fabelmans’ and the horror film ‘Heretic,’ continues to build her impressive resume. She’s also set to appear in the Netflix comedy ‘Roommates’ and the teen mystery series ‘Foster Dade’.
