Lauren Sánchez is already a mother to three children: Nikko, 25, from her relationship with former NFL player Tony Gonzalez; Evan, 19; and Ella, 18, from her marriage to businessman Patrick Whitesell. Jeff Bezos is a father to four – three sons and an adopted daughter.
The question on everyone’s mind: at 62, is Bezos ready to embrace the challenges of parenthood once more? On paper, the couple seems well-equipped – a substantial fortune, life experience, and a demonstrably strong connection. “I talk about everything with him,” Sánchez shared with the Times. “Everything! Jeff is my best friend, and I don’t say that lightly.”
Spokesperson Clarification & Hollywood Trends
However, Sánchez’s spokesperson quickly tempered the excitement, clarifying that she is not currently pregnant. Despite this denial, the timing of the comment coincides with a growing trend in Hollywood of later-in-life parenthood. Robert De Niro welcomed his seventh child at the age of 80, and Al Pacino announced the birth of his child at 83. These examples demonstrate that anything is possible, even in the later stages of life.
