Camille Felton: A Rising Star Balancing Act

Camille Felton is quickly becoming a familiar face on Canadian television. Currently captivating audiences in *Antigang*, she’s also inviting viewers to mark their calendars for *Surf Bay, West Coast* this spring – a series where she takes the lead. Let’s delve into the life of this talented young actress, thriving both professionally and personally.

Reflecting on *Antigang* Success

As the first season of *Antigang* nears its finale on April 16th at 6 PM on Radio-Canada, Camille reflects on a remarkably positive experience. She portrays Marilou Caron, a complex character from a powerful criminal family who consistently challenges the Antigang squad.

“I love playing a villain,” Camille shares. “It’s so different from who I am in real life. To embody Marilou, I have to tap into a completely different energy.” Marilou’s evolution, particularly following the death of her father Vincent Caron (Marc Béland), has been compelling to watch, transforming her into a formidable figure.

Her character’s current relationship with Cédric Murphy (Samuel Gauythier), son of clan leader Dan Murphy (Frank Schorpion), adds another layer of intrigue. Camille hints at her return for the second season of *Antigang*, scheduled to begin filming in July.

Balancing Acting with Education

Beyond her acting career, Camille is dedicated to completing her Bachelor of Education. “I have one year left,” she explains. “I’m passionate about teaching and envision myself doing substitute teaching and even coaching in the television and film industry. But ultimately, I’m an actress first and foremost.”

Love and Life in Mirabel

In October, Camille shared the exciting news of moving into her first home in Mirabel with her partner, Frédérick, a firefighter. Three years together, and their relationship is flourishing. “We’re incredibly happy living together,” she says. “The beginning of our adult life is going wonderfully. It’s true love! We’re already talking about engagement and starting a family soon.”

Adventure Awaits: Spain and Beyond

The couple is planning a trip to Spain, starting with a celebration in Ibiza, known for its electronic music scene, and surfing. They’ll also explore Barcelona. Upon her return to Quebec, Camille will begin filming the second season of the comedy *Belle-mère*, alongside Philippe-Audrey Larrue-St-Jacques. The first season is currently available on [Tou.tv](https://tou.tv/).

Making Waves with *Surf Bay, West Coast*

Camille is also starring in the upcoming series *Surf Bay, West Coast*, filmed in Tofino, British Columbia, set to premiere in Spring 2025. She plays Margot Swann, a professional surfer who takes radical action to protect the natural environment near her hometown, potentially jeopardizing her Olympic dreams.

“It’s a series that blends thriller and romance,” Camille describes. “It features Quebec actors Karl Walcott and Henri Picard, as well as established French-speaking actors from British Columbia, including Tony Hiu Joong Giroux and Mia Wistaff, with whom I co-star.”

She emphasizes the dedication she put into learning to surf and undergoing rigorous training to authentically portray her character. It’s a project she’s incredibly excited about!
