Is the Disney Dining Plan Making a Comeback?
Last year, Disney delighted fans with a pair of significant discounts, and anticipation is building for a similar announcement! In March 2025, Disney unveiled two major Disney Dining Plan deals. The first offered Disney Visa cardholders exclusive access to a limited-time offer, granting them the Disney Dining Plan for free with a 4-night, 4-day Disney World package, including a room at a select Disney World hotel and a Park Hopper ticket. The second, following closely after, extended the free Dining Plan to all guests booking a similar 4-night, 4-day vacation package.
What’s the Buzz for March 2026?
As March 2026 approaches, the question on everyone’s mind is: will Disney reinstate the free Dining Plan? While an official announcement hasn’t been made, several indicators suggest it’s a possibility. Over the past few years, Disney has consistently offered a wide range of discounts, spanning dining, hotels, and theme park tickets.
Current Disney World Discounts
If the free Dining Plan returns, it will join a host of other currently available discounts, including:
- Room Discounts: Save up to 30% on rooms at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels for stays most nights from May 1st to July 29th, 2026. Savings vary by resort tier and length of stay.
- Bounceback Offer: Planning a 2026 trip? Save up to 35% on your next stay when you book within 7 days of checking out from your current visit.
- Free Dining for Kids: Guests booking a room and dining plan for ages 10 and up can receive FREE dining plans for kids ages 3 to 9 through 2026 bookings.
- Military & Disney+ Discounts: Special savings are also available for military members and Disney+ subscribers.
Disney’s Strong Performance
Disney’s recent earnings call revealed a 5% increase in bookings for the full year, weighted towards the latter half.
