Alexandra Saint Mleux: From Wimbledon to Wife of a Formula 1 Star

The Formula 1 world is buzzing with the news of Charles Leclerc’s marriage to his long-term partner, Alexandra Saint Mleux, now officially Alexandra Leclerc. The couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Monaco on Saturday, February 28th, marking a beautiful new chapter in their lives.

A Fairytale Romance

Rumors of their relationship began circulating in March 2023, and the couple was first publicly spotted together at Wimbledon in July of the same year. Since then, Alexandra has become a familiar and beloved face in the F1 paddock, quickly winning over fans alongside their adorable dog, Leo. Leclerc has often spoken fondly of Leo, describing him as his “best friend” and a regular companion at races. “He’s my best friend. He’s the best. I bring him to most of the races. Last year, he did get a paddock pass, but he doesn’t need it anymore. People know him more than me. He can still get into the paddock at every race he comes to,” Leclerc shared with GQ Sports.

Confirmation and Celebration

The couple announced their engagement in November 2025, and now, just months before Leclerc embarks on the 2026 Formula 1 season, they have officially tied the knot. Confirmation of their marriage came when Alexandra changed her name on Instagram to Alexandra Leclerc, sending fans into a frenzy of excitement.

The couple was seen driving around Monaco in a stunning vintage 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, with Leclerc sporting a pale suit and Alexandra radiant in her wedding gown. It was a picture-perfect moment for the newly married couple.

Looking Ahead to the 2026 Season

As Charles Leclerc prepares for the 2026 F1 season, which kicks off with the Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park in Melbourne from March 6-8, he’s doing so with the support of his wife. During pre-season testing, Leclerc completed 135 laps, stating, “The test day was very smooth, we ran through our programme and tested all the things we planned to. In terms of performance, it’s still difficult to understand where we really stand because teams are hiding their true form, so it’s important not to focus too much on lap times and prepare for the first race.”

He added, “We will build step by step and try to understand how to extract the maximum from our car, we have a lot of data to analyse before we arrive in Melbourne and we will see how things go once we are there.”
