The California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to the incident, which was initially reported at 9:39 a.m. as a traffic collision with injuries.

Details of the Accident

The accident involved a gray Toyota Camry and a black Jeep. According to CHP dispatch records, a passenger in the Jeep sustained an arm injury. At the time of the initial report, the Toyota Camry was partially blocking the westbound lane of SR-162.

CHP units arrived on the scene at 9:49 a.m. and requested a rotation tow for the Camry, contacting T&T Towing of Willits. The Camry sustained a blown front tire as a result of the impact.

Investigation Underway
