This year’s global theme, Give to Gain, beautifully encapsulates the transformative power of generosity, mentorship, and collaboration in accelerating gender equity. When we dedicate our time, talents, resources, and unwavering support to women, we unlock opportunities that not only empower them individually but also strengthen the entire community. It’s a virtuous cycle where giving fuels growth for everyone.
Join the Celebration at The Rose
The City of Brampton invites you to a special International Women’s Day event at The Rose (1 Theatre Ln., Brampton, ON). The evening will feature:
- A Free Panel Discussion: Moderated by Cristina Howorun, Broadcast Journalist for CityNews Toronto, the panel will delve into the critical topics of mentorship, leadership, and the profound impact of giving back to create opportunities for women.
- Women Who Rock: A Mainstage Performance by NEWCHOIR featuring Lee Aaron: Experience an electrifying performance by NEWCHOIR, showcasing the incredible talent of Brampton’s own Lee Aaron. Tickets are required for the mainstage performance.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with local Brampton-based women’s advocacy and empowerment groups and enjoy complimentary refreshments provided by It’s Not Easy Being Green, a fantastic women-owned business in Brampton.
