Tennessee Titans Roster Shake-up: Granson Sidelined for Colts Showdown

As the Tennessee Titans gear up for their highly anticipated clash against the Indianapolis Colts, the team has announced a key change to their active roster. In a move that has caught the attention of analysts and fantasy football managers alike, tight end Granson will be inactive for Sunday’s game.

The Decision: A Healthy Scratch

It has been confirmed that Granson’s absence is a coach’s decision. Rather than an injury, Granson remains a “healthy scratch,” meaning he is physically fit but will only be integrated into the lineup when the Titans require additional depth at the tight end position.

This strategic move suggests that the coaching staff is confident in their current rotation and is optimizing the active roster for specific tactical advantages against the Colts’ defense.

Who Will Step Up? The Titans’ Tight End Rotation

With Granson out of the picture, the Titans are leaning on a trio of reliable athletes to handle the tight end duties. The team will move forward with the following active players:

n
• Gunnar Helm: Expected to provide stability and versatility in both blocking and receiving.
• Daniel Bellinger: Bringing experience and a physical presence to the offensive line.
• David Martin-Robinson: A key piece in the rotational depth to keep the offense dynamic.

What This Means for the Matchup

This roster adjustment highlights the Titans’ commitment to their current developmental path. By rolling with Helm, Bellinger, and Martin-Robinson, the Titans are prioritizing specific athletic profiles to counter the Colts’ defensive schemes.

For fans and bettors, keeping a close eye on the official NFL Tennessee Titans updates is crucial as the team continues to refine its strategy throughout the season.

Key Takeaways for Fans

While Granson remains a valuable asset for the future, the current focus is on the synergy between the three active tight ends. Whether they can provide the necessary receiving threats and blocking efficiency will be a deciding factor in Sunday’s outcome.
