Team USA is hot on their heels, currently holding 2nd place with a record of 4-1. Tabitha Peterson’s team has already matched the U.S. women’s win totals from both the 2018 and 2022 Olympics, and they are just one win away from achieving the most wins by any U.S. women’s team in a single Olympic Games – a record of five games set in 1998.
Switzerland currently sits in 3rd place at 3-1, while Denmark and South Korea are tied for 4th with records of 3-2. Below the cutline for the semifinals are China (2-2) in 6th, Canada and Great Britain (both 1-3) tied for 7th, Japan (1-4) in 9th, and Italy (0-5) in 10th.
