Miranda Lambert and Dinah Jane Set to Headline Daytona 500 Pre-Race Festivities
The stage is set for a thrilling Daytona 500, and the entertainment lineup promises to be just as captivating as the race itself! Country music superstar Miranda Lambert and platinum-selling singer-songwriter Dinah Jane are confirmed to perform before the iconic race on Sunday, February 15th.
Dinah Jane to Perform ‘America the Beautiful’
Dinah Jane, known for her powerful vocals and former membership in the hit group Fifth Harmony, will honor the nation with a performance of “America the Beautiful” prior to the green flag. She expressed her excitement, stating, “I’m so excited for this opportunity and can’t wait to experience the energy firsthand. I’ve heard there’s nothing like the thrill of going fast NASCAR-style.”
Jane is no stranger to performing the national anthem at major sporting events, having previously graced the MLS Cup championship game in 2022 with her rendition. While a performer for the national anthem hasn’t been officially announced, Jane remains a strong possibility.
Miranda Lambert Brings Country Flair to Daytona
Miranda Lambert, a leading figure in country music, will also take the stage to entertain fans before the race. Her performance is expected to add a vibrant energy to the pre-race atmosphere. Lambert’s presence underscores NASCAR’s continued effort to broaden its appeal and connect with diverse audiences.
Beyond the Music: Grand Marshal and Honorary Pace Car Driver
The excitement doesn’t stop with the musical performances. Comedian Nate Bargatze will serve as the grand marshal, giving the command for drivers to start their engines. Adding to the star power, actor Kurt Russell will take on the role of honorary pace car driver, leading the field of drivers to the green flag.
Daytona has a tradition of honoring military personnel, and in 2025, Technical Sergeant Michael J. Aiello performed, continuing a practice established in 2020 and 2021.
Miss America 2026 Also Takes the Stage
Adding to the pre-race festivities, Cassie Donegan, Miss America 2026, delivered a stirring performance of the National Anthem before the America 250 Florida Duel on Thursday, February 12th.
