Vans Warped Tour 2026: A High-Octane Return to the Punk Rock Roots

The energy, the sweat, and the distorted guitars are back! The legendary Vans Warped Tour, a cornerstone of alternative music culture, has once again ignited the stage. After a massive 30th-anniversary celebration, the tour expanded its horizons for 2026, bringing the sonic mayhem to more fans than ever before.

Expanding the Chaos: New Cities, Same Spirit

While the tour maintained its strong presence in Washington D.C., Orlando, and the punk-soaked streets of Long Beach, CA, 2026 marked a thrilling expansion. For the first time, the tour crossed borders to bring the noise to Montreal, Canada, and Mexico City, Mexico.

Long Beach continues to be a spiritual home for the festival, serving as the perfect backdrop given the city’s rich history of producing groundbreaking punk and hardcore bands from the Orange County scene. With around 80 artists performing across eight different stages, the event was a melting pot of Rock, Pop, Metal, Alternative, and Hip-Hop.

Day One: Nostalgia and Anthems

The first day was a masterclass in alternative music. While the tour avoids the traditional “headliner” label to keep the spirit of discovery alive, the closing sets were nothing short of iconic:

• Jimmy Eat World: Celebrating the 25th anniversary of their seminal album Bleed American, the band delivered a powerhouse performance, playing the entire album from start to finish.
• Simple Plan: Closing the Vans Stage with an explosion of energy, they played hits like “Addicted” and “I’d Do Anything.” The set featured special guests including Lolo, Derek DiScanio, and Bonnie Fraser, and kept the tradition alive by inviting every Scooby-Doo dressed fan on stage for the theme song.

Other standout performances included high-energy sets from All Time Low, Hoobastank, Attila, and Bowling For Soup, ensuring the atmosphere remained electric from dawn until dusk.

Day Two: Pyrotechnics and Power Chords

The momentum didn’t slow down for day two. The lineup featured a diverse array of talent, from the rap-rock fusion of G-Eazy to the raw intensity of The Used and Glassjaw.
